Life through lenses (I wear glasses)

About

He’s been turning a focusing ring and pressing a shutter button for over 10 years. He started with a Canon AE-1 body, a 50mm lens and sat in dark closets feeding bulk Ilford 400 black-and-white film into reusable film rolls. This is the online home of photographer and dude-ologist, Eric Nguyen. Having worn eyeglasses beginning in the third grade, his perception of the world has been shaped by a lens ever since.

“For me personally, photography has been a journey. I have grown, moved from place to place, and shared laughs with friends and family. The adventure is still unfolding. My camera has been a constant companion, not only helping me document the journey but on the flip-side, helping me tell the story.

My work is to capture the moments that in whole, tell a story. It’s the story of a birthday, a sunset, of a growing family. It’s life. I see these moments everyday, everywhere. That’s how my style has evolved and it’s what I hope resonates with my clients.”
